The Boise City Council Candidate Forum for District 2 will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Valleyview Elementary School in Boise. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Idaho Education Fund, this free, nonpartisan event will feature candidates Colin Nash, Josh Ellstrom, and Derek James Smith.

This forum offers voters a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about their priorities, goals, and perspectives on the issues most important to Boise residents. Candidates will share their vision for the city, respond to moderator questions, and engage in a respectful exchange of ideas to help voters make informed decisions in the upcoming election.
