During Idaho Gives, your donation to the League of Women Voters of Idaho helps protect and strengthen the right to vote for all Idahoans.
As a nonpartisan organization, we work year-round to provide trusted election information, register voters, and advocate for fair and accessible elections.
Every dollar you give supports civic engagement and a healthier democracy—right here in Idaho.
-
Voter Engagement
We engage voters of all ages, from high school seniors to seniors in assisted living facilities, in the voting process.
We cross the state from Bonner's Ferry to Bear Lake helping voters exercise their constitutional right to have their say in shaping our government.
-
Voter Education
We produce factual, accessible, nonpartisan voter education materials used in LWVID-led community conversations about key policy issues.
In 2024, we launched a statewide effort to inform voters about the proposition to change our state's voting system through open primaries and ranked choice voting.
This year, we have launched a similar effort to help voters understand the impact of the Parental Choice Tax Credit Program sending public funding to private schools.
-
Voter Advocacy
Our Legislative Action Committee advocates for the rights of all Idahoans by being a constant presence in the Idaho Legislature.
We testify, conduct writing and phone calling campaigns, and collaborate with other pro-democracy organizations in the fight to address real needs in our state.
This year, we are launching an ambitious Legislator Accountability Project to hold individual lawmakers to account for their actions.
-
Voter Information
We conduct Get Out the Vote campaigns across the state.
LWVID produces the only free statewide nonpartisan, online voter guide, Vote411.org.
Last year, we distributed voting materials to every library in the state and provided vital voter information through our candidate forums and at county fairs, farmer's markets, pro-democracy demonstrations, and at high schools and colleges.
