Join the League of Women Voters of Moscow for a Speaker Series presentation, Addressing Moscow Schools' Facility Needs, on Wed., Sept. 23 at 12 p.m. in the 1912 Center Lecompte Auditorium. 

Shawn Tiegs, Superintendent of Moscow Public Schools is leading efforts to address the District's long-overdue facility needs and will share information about the Board of Trustees' decision to pursue a plant facilities levy in the upcoming November election. 

Superintendent Tiegs, a University of Idaho alum, longtime Moscow resident, and father of seven, joined the Moscow School District in July 2023. With a background in teaching math, science, and former Superintendent to the Nez Perce County School District, Shawn brings extensive experience in education and administration. He was honored as an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator in 2014 and currently serves as President of the Idaho High School Activities Association.
