The League of Women Voters of the Lewis Clark Valley will host a Primary Candidate Meet & Greet on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Lewiston Library, 2nd Floor Event Room. The event will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the program beginning at 5:30 p.m. and concluding at 6:45 p.m.
All candidates appearing on the May 19 primary ballot for Nez Perce County offices, Legislative Districts 6 and 7, and U.S. Senate have been invited to participate.
The event will follow a meet-and-greet format, providing attendees an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and learn about their priorities and reasons for seeking office.
League moderator Rick Tousley will introduce each participating candidate using biographical information submitted in advance. Following the introduction, each candidate will have up to two minutes to share why they are running and discuss the issues they believe are most important to voters.
Candidates will also be able to provide campaign materials on tables inside the event room.
Community members are encouraged to attend, meet the candidates, and learn more about those seeking to represent them in local, state, and federal offices.
