Idaho Women's Commission and a Report on the Women's Incarceration

Join the League of Women Voters of Moscow on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. PT on Zoom for a conversation with Kendal Shaber about the history and importance of the Idaho Women's Commission, along with a discussion of the Idaho Justice Project's report on women's incarceration in Idaho.

Shaber will explore the history of the Idaho Women's Commission, its role in bringing attention to issues affecting women across the state, and why having a dedicated commission focused on women's issues remains important. She will also discuss the Idaho Justice Project's work examining women's incarceration and the challenges facing women in Idaho's criminal justice system.

Join us on September 16 at noon PT for an informative conversation about Idaho's history, the issues women face today, and the importance of ensuring women's experiences and concerns have a voice in public policy.
