Idahoans for Openess in Government: IDAHO PUBLIC RECORDS ACT

The League of Women Voters of Idaho invites members and friends to a series of comprehensive sessions from its coalition partner organization, Idahoans for Openness in Government. These sessions will offer an in-depth look at the public’s rights under Idaho law to access public records and meetings, the rules, and how to access the information.

The third seminar is on January 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. MT in the Idaho Capitol Building’s Lincoln Auditorium and focuses on the Idaho Public Records Act – the law and the public’s rights. Hear from Andy Snook, General Counsel for Governor Brad Little, and Betsy Russell, IDOG President, on how citizens and journalists can effectively request and obtain public records.
