The League of Women Voters of the Lewis-Clark Valley invites the community to attend a General Election Candidate Forum on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:45 p.m. at the Lewiston Library, 2nd Floor Event Room.

All general election candidates with contested races appearing on the November 3 ballot for Nez Perce County, Legislative District 6, and Legislative District 7 are invited to participate.

The forum provides voters with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates and learn more about the issues and perspectives that may shape their choices in the upcoming election. Candidate forums are an important part of informed civic participation and give community members a chance to become more familiar with the candidates seeking to represent them.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and works to increase understanding of public policy issues through education and advocacy. The League does not support or oppose candidates or political parties.
