Join the League of Women Voters of Idaho Education Fund on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. MT at the Meridian Orchard Park Library in Meridian for an afternoon of community action. As part of the League of Women Voters (LWV) National Day of Action to Unite & Rise, we'll write postcards to unaffiliated voters while commemorating the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. A simple handwritten message can make a meaningful difference by encouraging participation and helping voters feel connected to the democratic process. Gather with fellow volunteers, make new connections, and help strengthen democracy one postcard at a time. Materials and snacks will be provided.
